   YOUTH LEADERSHIP

Developing Confidence. Building Accountability. Preparing for What's Next.

Leadership begins long before someone earns a title.

It begins when a young person recognizes their voice, understands the power of their choices, and learns that what they do next matters.

LOVE IN ACTION partners with schools, youth-serving organizations, community agencies, and families to create practical leadership and life-readiness experiences that help young people build confidence, strengthen decision-making, and prepare for what comes next.

Our approach is simple:

READY. LEAD. CONNECT.

READY

Build the practical skills and confidence to navigate school, work, and life.

LEAD

Develop voice, accountability, decision-making, and self-leadership.

CONNECT

Strengthen relationships with trusted adults, resources, and communities of support.

SIGNATURE YOUTH EXPERIENCES

OWN YOUR NEXT MOVE™

Choices. Accountability. What's Next.

Young people make decisions every day that shape what comes next.

OWN YOUR NEXT MOVE™ is an interactive self-leadership experience that helps young people understand the connection between their choices, actions, consequences, and future opportunities.

Participants explore:

• Self-awareness and personal responsibility

• Decision-making and consequences

• Confidence and self-advocacy

• Goal setting and next-step planning

• Navigating pressure and setbacks

• Personal accountability

Young people leave with more than motivation. They leave thinking differently about the power they have over their next move.

THE TRUSTED ADULT™

Because Young People Don't Develop Alone.

Young people need adults who know how to listen, guide, challenge, support, and recognize when something has changed.

The Trusted Adult™ equips educators, mentors, youth workers, coaches, community leaders, and other adults who influence young people with practical tools to strengthen those relationships.

Participants explore:

• Building trust with young people

• Listening beyond the immediate behavior

• Accountability without humiliation

• Recognizing changes and potential concerns

• Responding without overreacting or dismissing

• Knowing when and how to connect young people to additional support

Strong young people need strong adults around them.

READY FOR WHAT'S NEXT™

Turning Potential Into Preparation.

READY FOR WHAT'S NEXT™ helps young people and emerging adults translate what they already know, do, and have experienced into practical preparation for employment and future opportunities.

Participants work on:

• Identifying transferable skills

• Resume development

• Interview preparation

• Workplace expectations

• Communicating strengths and experiences

• Identifying practical next steps and resources

The goal isn't simply to help participants find a job.

It's to help them recognize what they bring to the table and prepare to communicate it.

Through community partnerships and sponsorships, LOVE IN ACTION coordinates Care & Confidence Kits™ containing practical items that support personal care, wellness, confidence, and readiness.

Kits can complement youth programs, community events, school initiatives, and partner programming.

Small resources can remove real barriers—and remind a young person that someone thought about what they might need.

LOVE IN ACTION youth experiences are designed for partnership with:

Schools • Youth Organizations • Community Agencies • Behavioral Health Organizations • Municipalities • Libraries • Faith-Based Organizations • Juvenile & Youth-Serving Systems

Programs can be adapted for middle school students, high school students, young adults, families, and the adults who support them.

WHAT WE WANT YOUNG PEOPLE TO LEAVE WITH

Not just inspiration.

We want young people to leave with:

More confidence in who they are.

Greater ownership of their choices.

Practical tools they can actually use.

A clearer understanding of what comes next.

And adults and resources they know they can turn to.

That is what youth empowerment looks like in action.
